Some of the best pastries in town. Love me some bakeshop. Gluten free options are amazing but I truly love that Nutella chocolate chip muffin paired with a bean2bean iced latte!? Start to a great day

This is a really strange review for me. On the one hand, I had a 5/5 cinnamon roll that knocked it (and me) out of the park. It was truly amazing I would certainly come back to get it again and want to try more! On the other, my gluten free partner got their double chocolate banana muffin and didn’t even finish it because she disliked it so much. I certainly didn’t think it was as bad as she did, she said it was a 1 star and the worst muffin she’s ever had, and I thought it was okay like 2-3 star. Some of the main issues were that it was so moist and insubstantial (could not pick up a piece really, I had to scoop it out) that it seems like it was cooked for 1/2 the amount of time it should have been, and the granulated sugar never go to a high enough temperature to become a part of it, so it was sugar crunchy on the inside making it seem even more like a bunch of uncooked batter. Also on a side note, I took one of their $10 cards from the place, jumped through a bunch of hoops, and found out you can’t order sandwiches with that, only pastries. That had me livid
