I don’t envy any business owner trying to operate a “snob magnet” business like a coffee shop in snob capital of the world. For us normal folks, we found the coffee to be really solid all around. Yes it’s expensive, but I can’t imagine what the rent and hourly wages are in a location like this, so I blame Vail more broadly for that than anything. Also, wherever they source their gluten free pastries from…. The GF coffee cakes were unreal. Can’t really recommend the other pastry options because the freshness just isn’t there for a single donut that costs $5. Ultimately, this serves the exact purpose it should serve - a highly convenient, walkable coffee option
