Cute little restaurant with a unique atmosphere and pretty authentic menu. Lots of dietary options for vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free.

We booked a table for 6 over the weekend for breakfast/brunch. Arrived at our booking time of 9.30am, got sorted and ordered coffees. The long black was more a cup of hot water with a splash of coffee. The Chai latte was an actual coffee latte with chai added. Might need to brush up on their coffee knowledge with that one. Hot chocolate was okay. Nobody was given a tea spoon. Then we waited. We waited about 20minutes for our food order to even be taken. Eventually it was taken but then the real waiting started. We were the only table there that had ordered food. But we still waited till 11am to get our breakfast. 4 plates were suppose to be the same meal except one gluten free, one mushroom and eggs, and one French toast. The poor waited who bought out the food. He had not a clue and thats okay. Hes not getting any of the blame. The gluten free meal was the completely wrong meal and had to be sent back to make sure it was gluten free. The French toast tasted like it has been made first and left out. Cold and hard. The whipped cream tasted like whipped egg whites. 2 of those same meal plates were just alright but very runny fried eggs. The final plate that should of been the same must've been forgotten. They were 'just cooking the sausages" but still took another 10minutes. We were never checked on. Never asked how the meals were so there was no one to complain to. Until it was too late and we went up to pay. But we couldn't. The eftpos wasn't working so we had to do a bank transfer. Which is all well and good, these things happen but there were about 3 couples that came in while we were finishing up and not one of them was warned. They'll just get that sprung on them when they're ready to leave? I'll be honest, 2 stars in incredibly generous for what we experienced this morning. We won't be back any time soon
