The Black Box Cuisine

Fantastic spot in Squamish! We were on our way to Whistler for a weekend drive and stumbled upon this hidden gem — so glad we did. The Black Box Cuisine in Squamish (37760 2 Ave, downtown, inside Cliffside Cider, near McDonald’s) is such a treat for anyone craving Indian fusion food and Indian street food with a twist. Shivam and JD were amazing — super friendly and welcoming. Loved seeing the cultural fusion on the menu, especially the Fries Chaat and Butter Chicken Poutine/Fries. We also spotted shahi paneer rolls, chatpata rolls, chicken momo, veggie momo, masala fries, peri-peri fries, curries, rice bowls, rotisserie chicken, raita, and fresh Indian flatbread on the menu — tons of tasty vegetarian, gluten free, and even vegan friendly options. Everything had bold, fresh flavours, with the perfect balance of spicy, medium spicy, and savory comfort food. The place has food truck vibes but works perfectly for casual dining, take-out, delivery (SkipTheDishes), family-friendly meals, events, or a late night bite. If you’re passing through Squamish, BC or on your way to Whistler, definitely check it out. This local-owned gem is a must-visit — we’ll definitely be back. Keep up the great work! ❤️

Lovely food truck run by a couple of nice guys. I was there once with a friend that can’t have dairy or gluten and they rustled her up a special meal that was delicious. I really like their dumplings! And the peri peri fries are a nice dish to share whilst enjoying a cider from the attached Cliffside Cidery.
