The Black Cypress

Service was very formal and awesome. The Ribeye was incredible. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about what her ordering options were. Very impressive.

We come here every time we visit our son who recently graduated last week. Have never had anything less than a five-star experience. Sadly, that trend came to an abrupt end when we took our family out for a post-graduation dinner. While the dips, as usual, were exceptional the service and most unfortunately the entrees were so far from an even modest expectation. Specifically, the pork chop which has been a proven winner was dry and nearly inedible. Both diners who ordered it left half behind to be thrown out. The pasta, gluten free, was delivered much later than the rest of the table's meals. Salads were fine, steak cooked to liking, however definitely a disappointment considering we may have to find another go-to dining experience as we have another student who will be a freshman at WSU starting in August. Typically over the course of a year we will dine at Black Cypress three or four times. Party of 9 830pm reservation
