Fabulous location that serves great gluten free food by happy friendly staff 😄

Really nice place, lovely service and they thoroughly checked out my allergies which inspires confidence. Standards in this department have possibly got even better over time! Unfortunately though, my main course was smaller than my starter. Wild mushroom cannelloni, gluten free option. Two small, lonely, Chinese leaf lettuce parcels in a big bowl of what I can only describe as tinned tomatoes and sliced garlic. Couldn’t taste the wild mushrooms. And the chips ordered on the side were a small portion also. Sadly we were tight for time by the time the food came so couldn’t have the important conversation with staff. It was fully booked so no fault on the pub for the wait, just that was how it was. The team are excellent so I’m sure they would’ve helped if we had time, but we just didn’t. The easiest way to get out quickly is to leave with positive comments. Anna kindly brought our bill very quickly so we could get to the show on time! Starter of sirloin with bone broth hash brown was delicious, could do with a jus or sauce to bring it together. Main of slow roasted rib was apparently top notch. But the dropped stars are for that mushroom main. My stomach was rumbling throughout the performance which was really embarrassing!
