The Black Horse is an excellent pub for food or drinks.
We visited in a large party recently and the food was excellent - with most of the party having a traditional roast.
Would love to see a vegan gluten free roast option/more options for this generally to be a 5/5.

An absolute gem hidden in the Kent countryside. Our 2 night stay from start to finish was fantastic. The rooms are spotless with all the facilities you need,the food is fabulous, a,great choice for breakfast, all freshly cooked and the meal we had on Friday was delicious ,even providing me with gluten free bread for my moules. The staff are outstanding, whatever we asked for was given with a smile. We were attending an event at Leeds Castle and stupidly had not booked a taxi to fetch us back,not a problem as,one of the receptionists offered to pick us up after her shift, what an absolute star. You will not be disappointed staying at this beautiful pub full of history and intrigue. We will definitely be back
