I am a trace-sensitive celiac patient. Have eaten here a few times with zero issues. It is a little bit pricey however, their gluten-free buns are absolutely delicious and with the guaranteed safety I’ve had so far, it’s definitely worth the cost for a nice night out.

I have gluten and dairy restrictions. I mentioned this to the waitress and shortly after the chef came to our table to talk over the menu. Extremely happy with the service and food.

I give Black Label Tavern in Livonia, Michigan, a full five stars! From the ambiance to the service and, of course, the food—everything was spot on. Our server, Jennifer, was amazingly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering helpful recommendations. I highly recommend starting with the Firecracker Shrimp, served with rice paper wraps and topped with a delicious volcano chili sauce—it’s a standout! For the main course, the Tommy Hawk Pork Chop was fantastic. It’s a 12-ounce, all-natural bone-in pork chop served with roasted marble potatoes and asparagus, and it’s gluten-free. The flavors were absolutely on point, especially when paired with their Midnight Margarita. This drink was delicious, with just the right blend of flavors to complement the pork chop perfectly. I also tried the Bourbon Chicken, which comes with pearl onions, wild mushrooms, a rich bourbon cream, and garlic mashed potatoes. It was very good, hearty, and flavorful. For dessert, we shared the Fried Cheesecake, which my loved one absolutely enjoyed—he said it reminded him of the local state fair. I wasn’t a fan, but only because I’m not big on dessert. Still, if he liked it, I’m sure it was as amazing as the rest of the food! I also had the chance to look around at other diners’ plates, and while I didn’t get to taste them, everything looked beautifully presented and tempting. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend stopping by—Black Label Tavern won’t disappoint!
