A More Idyllic Setting for this Beautiful Pub is hard to imagine, The little Village of Culgaith, Which Nestles in the Stunning Scenery of the North Pennines.... the Views are Sublime, This Pub is very well Situated for Exploration of the Area, and I would highly Recommend the Black Swan,as the Place to base yourself for a Weekend or longer Break while Exploring this Area of The Country..... Superb Room's and Truly Fantastic Food.... its a real Haven for Rest and Relaxation..... My Wife and I ( Russell &Angela Nicholson) were only staying at the Black Swan for One Night ( if only It could have been longer) and after our Walk to see High Cup Nick ( a Spectacular valley in the High Pennines, this was the perfect place to stay and Enjoy a Fabulous Evening meal & and Great Conversation with one of the owners.... Lovely interior Decor...Comfy chairs and Sofa, A Good small range of Lagers and Local Beers 🍻.... Fantastic Menu... ( Considering the Gradual easing of LOCKDOWN) the choice is Amazing....Gluten Free options are Marked on the Menu, I Started with a really Delicious Leek & Potato Soup +Homemade Bread... my main Choice was a Pork fillet medallions Stack+ Haggis +Crouton and Dressed with a Delicious Marsala Sauce and Topped with crispy leeks...( Druelling yet 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋) and to finish...A Creme Brulee+ Summer fruits Garnish with homemade Shortbread 😋oooooohhhh.... And while waiting for our Table I tried the local Brew.... Amber Lancaster a Gorgeous Deep Bronze in colour with a Beautiful Sweet nutty Texture....A delicious pint.... Unbelievable place to stay... I Highly Recommend....Thank you all at the Black Swan) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
