The Blue Rooster

My new favourite breakfast place in, Ajax. Super friendly staff. Dawn, Anna and Sasha are all amazing. The cooks are always smiling and saying hello as well! They were able to accommodate my order for a gluten allergy reason. The portion sizes were fantastic and everything was cooked the way it’s suppose to be. Great atmosphere inside as well. It’s a very nice place. Looking forward to making this a regular breakfast spot a couple times a week! Mark

Was in Ajax for the night and tried to find a breakfast place with gluten free options. Was very pleased to find the Blue Rooster. It was very busy on Sunday afternoon ... not surprising, of course. The service was very friendly, but unfortunately incredibly slow. We waited roughly 20 minutes before even getting to order, and about another 25-30 to receive our food after ordering. We didn't realize until later that there was only one waitress working the entire restaurant, so we were understanding of the wait. The food was pretty good, I ordered poached eggs to be cooked medium, but they were a bit too runny... though I realize they can be tricky. The prices are good, and there are lots of gluten-friendly options. All in all, it was a nice time.
