Probably the best chip shop in York. It could only be made better by the addition of a cheese pie to their menu. Also offer Gluten Free but make sure you pre-order as this can take 30-minutes to prepare.

Called in for some chips .Wife spotted the gluten free fish and chips so we placed a order of cips and curry sauce for two and the gluten free fish and chips. There is a wait of 30 mins approximately for the gluten free option as it is cook separately from all other food. The portions were outstanding and plentiful and the wife said it was the best gluten free fish and chips she has had . The staff were very helpful and the prices are very competitive. Would definitely recommend this fish and chip shop. If you do have coeliac the staff recommend pre ordering the gluten options so as you do not have to wait.
