The Boathouse Hotel Patonga

I had lunch at the Boathouse with my family during the past week. We had two kids meals that we were told would come out first (understanding that they might not come immediately given we were ordering in peak lunchtime) but almost all of our adult meals (8 adults) came out before the kids meals. Two of us are coeliac and were happy to see lots of gf options. We both got burgers and were really disappointed with the burger buns! With all the great gf burger buns out there and this place charging the prices they do, there’s really no excuse for dry, stale tasting buns. Wouldn’t recommend the burgers as a gluten free option unless a new product is sourced. Even though it’s the only place to sit down for a meal in Patonga, I’d probably go elsewhere nearby next time.

We ate at the restaurant and it was one of the best bayside restaurants i’ve ever been to. Food was amazing and staff was exceptionally friendly. Fish and Chips were too notch. Gluten free pizza was scrumptious.
