The food was amazing, well presented, good size portions and tasted delicious. The gluten free fish and chips was the best I've ever tasted with delicious crisp batter and came with mushy peas, tartar sauce and curry sauce all in separate pots. There weren't many customers but for some reason our party of 8 was sat in the darkest part of the pub which was full of old world charm but was chilly and the speaker for the music sounded as if someone was eating a bag of crisps. A good experience but needs a few tweaks for a perfect rating.

What a day to remember! Our family had a wonderful day to celebrate a 100 th birthday. We were made so very welcome and able to relax and enjoy ourselves in great surroundings and lovely warming fire.
The food was absolutely delicious, all gluten free as requested and everyone said how impressed they were. Thank you so much to the kitchen staff.
The front of house team worked so hard and it was a long day for them. The family is very grateful for all their hard work.
