Excellent place for lunch or dinner. Their renovations have finished, and whilst I was worried it might change the casual, country feeling that the pub was known for, they have actually done an excellent job.
The outdoor dining is protected well from the elements (including the sun) and offers much more seating.
The traditionalists among us, can still brave the elements down lower next to the creek.
The food is of an excellent quality and their mid-week daily specials are a refreshing bargain in the ever diminishing world of a cheap pub meal.
I came for Schnitzel night - and it was busy, but all meals arrived at our table, for 11, at the same time.
They cater well to Gluten Free and Vegetarian dietary needs.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and their ordering system, with a priority line for drinks and another line for food works, efficiently and is very quick.
Their wine list showcases local.hills heroes and their house wines are more than reasonably priced.
This pub suits everyone from families to casual dinner with friends.
It is ( until now) one of the hills best kept secrets.
