Just placed an almost $300 order for our office, we've been ordering from Bronx Deli for years, never an issue before. So disappointed today. We tried to substitute the bread on one of our sandwiches for gluten free (as we always have done) on Doordash. Unfortunately, it would not give us the option to. So, we placed the order and then called Bronx Immediately to verbally change the bread. We were put on hold for almost 10 minutes, so we hung up and called back and were put on hold again for 8 minutes, we called again and you could hear the employees in the background say "they called three times they can learn their lesson" So we had another one of our staff members call Bronx and she was yelled at as soon as the call went through "CAN YOU HOLD" and then proceeded to just leave the phone on the counter for another 10 minutes & then they hung up on us. Once we finally got someone to speak with us they said they could not substitute the gluten free bread and that the order was "probably on it's way already" She couldn't even check to see if it really was already on its way. If someone would have just taken two minutes to answer the phone this could have been quickly resolved and we wouldn't have continued to call. Unprofessional and disappointing.
