The Brunswick Hotel

My sister and I booked a standard room here a little while ago at the Brunswick Hotel. My sister told a staff member that I would be having a small/minor medical procedure that morning on the day we would be checking in, and we wondered if we could check in early. The staff member not only let us check in a couple hours early, but also at no extra charge, bumped us up to a VERY large upgraded room. I have never had customer service on this level at any hotel I have ever stayed at before. The room was very spacious, very clean, had a nice large bathroom, and the beds were big and supremely comfortable with lovely bedding. My sister and I ate at the restaurant there. I had been to the restaurant two other times in the past and both times got excellent meals. This meal that night was another delicious one! Five star. Amazing home made fries (best I have ever had), delicious roast asparagus and steak that was tender, cooked perfectly, wonderful beef flavor, and covered with an absolutely decadent sauce. A nice selection of “mock tails” as well and sparkling water. Not an option for a gluten free/dairy free dessert at that time (which would be my one suggestion as there are a lot of people with food allergies), but thankfully I had brought along some dairy free dark chocolate lol! Wonderful ambiance in this restaurant. Attentive waitstaff. Best of all was a HUGE beautiful gas fireplace outside in their lovely backyard. It was nice to relax and sit out there after our meal. I would highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant!
