Incredible scratch-cooked food, great gluten-free options, kind service, relaxing outdoor seating

Atmosphere is great but the food is a mixed bag. I had the poke bowl once and it was terrible, the fish had been frozen and had poor texture and minimal flavor. Today I got the salmon plate, which was labeled gluten free on the menu. I mentioned to the staff that I had a gluten allergy and they said they would exclude the rice. I was very confused 1. Why the rice was not gluten free and 2. Why they would label this dish as gluten free if one of the items in it contained gluten. That seemed really misleading and confusing and potentially dangerous for folks with celiac disease or allergies. Our food came and I was disappointed to find that my salmon was well done and had bad flavor. I still give them 3 stars because the atmosphere is nice, the drinks are solid and my friends enjoyed their lobster rolls. Definitely go elsewhere if you're celiac or seeking gluten free
