The Capital Burger

Went for breakfast because the location is in the Hyatt Regency. Pretty decent for price vs. what you get. We had coffee, tea, bacon egg and cheese sandwich and the American breakfast. Everything was quite good! Sausage patty felt like it was homemade and not mass produced. Home fries had onions and peppers mixed in which was a positive. Requested a gluten free bun instead of toast and honestly it was quite good for gluten free. Service was decent, the server got everything correct but she wasn't overly engaging. Nonetheless, overall it was enjoyable and I would come back again when staying at the Hyatt.

Capital Burger inside the Hyatt was wonderful! I was tempted by the salmon salad, but thought, Im at a burger place -- and they offered gluten free buns. So, I went with the classic burger. The burger was so tasty! The bun was soft and didn't fall apart like some gf buns. THE PICKLES! If you like pickles, the house pickles are amazing. They were the second reason I went with the classic burger. For those of you who love beef tallow, it could be a reason to try capital burger. Our drinks were excellent too - and so was our service. All-in-all, it was a great meal!

There burgers are impressive and probably the best burger I have ever eaten. Even their gluten free bun is delicious. Their wine list is exceptional and obviously compiled by a knowledgeable wine team. We have only eaten at the bar and found the bartenders to be attentive and enjoyed getting their insights on wine. The food is expensive but the quality and attention to detail more than justifies the price.
