The Capital Grille

As a wine locker holder at CG, we frequent this specific restaurant for a few reasons over other, upscale choices. First, consistency. Every meal we’ve ever had at CG, has been done perfectly. Beyond the steaks, (which are delicious) the other food they offer from fish to chicken, including gluten-free options, are top-tier. Second, superior service. From our server(s), Ilan and Kristin, Gabby the managing partner, Shawn, Jeff, and Ariel, the bartenders, they truly know how to make you feel welcome and important. Lastly, cleanliness (In an iconic steakhouse). The team there takes great pride and making sure everything is clean, organized, and true to form. In a city with a lot of great options, this is a staple For those interested in the traditional steakhouse experience with extraordinary service.

My first time there we went with friends and the restaurant came recomended. It’s a nice restaurant in downtown Denver. Nice atmosphere to the place and the service was really great. The main down side as a vegetarian there are basically no options. I didn’t see anything for vegan or gluten free etc. I was told by the waitress the they could ask the chef if he could throw me together some pasta. Hmm that sounds so appealing especially at those prices! Very odd that a place doesn’t cater to dietary restrictions this day and age. Most restaurants are very accommodating so that was very unfortunate.
