The Capital Grille

My first time there we went with friends and the restaurant came recomended. It’s a nice restaurant in downtown Denver. Nice atmosphere to the place and the service was really great. The main down side as a vegetarian there are basically no options. I didn’t see anything for vegan or gluten free etc. I was told by the waitress the they could ask the chef if he could throw me together some pasta. Hmm that sounds so appealing especially at those prices! Very odd that a place doesn’t cater to dietary restrictions this day and age. Most restaurants are very accommodating so that was very unfortunate.

absolutely incredible service, just far and beyond what you could expect. we really felt like we got the royal treatment, and our waiter's knowledge of the menu and wine list was impressive as well as helpful. the food is solid, nothing outrageous, but we certainly weren't disappointed with anything. they also take care to accomodate in any way they can, so I had no problem ordering gluten free options. there isn't anything special about the ambience/interior. pretty much what you would expect from a chain like this. nice, but nothing unique about it. it was rather noisy when we were there, and the tables are relatively close together. so it's not somewhere I would recommend for a quiet, intimate evening.
