The Catfish House

Went for lunch on a weekday. Got there very early but the place filled up pretty quickly after we ordered. The server was very nice and helpful. We ordered catfish tenders at her recommendation because we wanted the Cajun spiced version, and she said because the tenders are smaller than fillets, they absorb more of the spices and cook up crispier. She was spot on. Delicious, crispy, moist, and spicy. Sides were hush puppies, beans, and fried okra, all delicious. As with most places in the south, breading on the fish is corn flour, so it's gluten free. Nautical theme, very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Ice environment I'm gluten free so I couldn't eat the catfish but did order grilled chicken on rice the chicken had a good flavor came with beans and Cole slaw which I don't eat mainly went for my dad and he enjoyed it all
