The Chalet

We absolutely loved our experience at the Chalet last night! It’s hard to believe this hidden gem is tucked into the heart of Lake Cumberland and 10 minutes from downtown Somerset! The atmosphere is amazing and we loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the weather. We started with the bacon wrapped apples and they were unreal! I then had the apple salad with a fabulous spiced cider vinaigrette and a filet with seasonal veggies. I have food allergies and have to stick to a gluten, dairy and soy-free diet and they accommodated me with no problem and were very kind and gracious about it! I felt confident that my meal was safe to eat and it was delicious as well. The food was amazing and you can tell Chefs Ed and Mike have spent years perfecting their craft. I can’t wait to come back and look forward to seeing this place become a staple in the community!

Wonderful experience, excellent food, staff, and beautiful cabin. I will be returning often. Best dining experience in Somerset. Plus so many gluten free options which is fantastic plus since I’m allergic to gluten!! Thanks!!
