The Charred Oak Tavern

My husband had the fish and chips and I as very pleased with his entree. I was extremely disappointed that the swordfish was no longer available on the menu. My vegan pad Thai did meet my requirements for gluten free but came without any scallions- lacked flavor and far too many carrots for me . Our waitress Jessica was outstanding- she was attentive and very personable without being overly intrusive. We went out for a 48th anniversary dinner and we were both looking forward to the swordfish entree which I had several times before . As good as Jessica was, unfortunately it was a mistake to eliminate this for me- as a non-meat eater and gluten free…we will not be back.

Fabulous date night spot. The service was exceptional and the food did not disappoint! We got the salmon burger, chicken Fresca, and shared the chocolate lava cake. All of it was gluten free!!! What a treat! We highly recommend the cake. Monica was a 5 star waitress.

Good food with great gluten free options. Gluten free buns (very good ones) and pasta available.
