The Cheesecake Factory

We love cheesecake but i don't know how many more times we will be back. The cheesecake is still fabulous, but apparently there was another price increase because it was $105 to get our family members (8) a slice of cheesecake. We saw the sign, but had already promised it to the kids before arriving so we didn't want to back out. We each got a different flavor: chocolate later cake, Reese's Cheesecake, seasonal peppermint chocolate, birthday cake, key lime, cookie dough, oreo extreme, and chocolate tuxedo cheesecake. If we can figure out a flavor that works for the family, there's a discount if you buy a whole cheesecake so we make try that sometime, but it won't be anytime soon. The gluten free godiva is also fantastic.

We suffered through the worst service that I've encountered in years at Cheesecake Factory. Not only did our waiter, Alex R., forget items that we ordered then claim they were out of stock (spicy tuna on crispy rice and Pelligrino) but he put our daughter's health at risk by bringing her gluten pasta after we clearly stated that she is celiac and has a gluten allergy. She ordered gluten-free pasta with butter and chicken ... so he brought regular pasta with ricotta and tomatoes. He then promised her meal would be replaced in 2 minutes ... and disappeared for 15 minutes. The next plate that came out was just plain pasta, and he put down a side of cheese sauce that when we asked, he said had gluten in it. I don't understand which part of "she's allergic to gluten!" he didn't get. He finally brought out a side of melted butter and a side of chicken, and our 12-year-old was expected to put her meal together herself. At no point did he apologize, offer to comp her meal, offer a dessert as compensation, nor bring a manager over to explain the cause of the multiple issues. To top it off, her repeatedly botched dish cost us $23.95. I am blown away that such a huge chain can offer such bad service that is not just annoying, but it is downright dangerous.
