The Chocolaterie Luxury Chocolates

This chocolaterie shop is located in historic downtown Duluth and has artisan chocolate treats and also serves gourmet ice cream. The shop was voted best of Gwinett in 2017. The mural on the side of the building drew my attention to the shop and when I looked up and saw the ice cream sign, I knew I had to go in. The mural is known as "Chocolaterie Lady Mural" and is 70 feet. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a young lady with a friendly smile. As i made my way to the counter, I had to stop and look at the prepackaged chocolate goodies and gift items. I sampled the lavender blueberry and spellbound butterbeer flavors and went with the latter in a waffle cone. You can check their website for current flavors since they can change during the week. All their ice creams are made with pure Non-GMO and hormone-free milk and cream. Every product is gluten-free unless a cookies or cake is used as a primary ingredient. The scoops were a generous size and the ice cream tasted fresh and flavorful and it was very creamy. The shop also has seating inside and out, it was nice to have an option.
