This was the third visit in recent months. For the other members of the party, there was plenty of choice and the food arrived well presented and was enjoyed. However, I require gluten Free. For a cafe that prides itself in serving some gluten free cakes, there needs to be more attention to the general menu. On two of the three visits, disappointingly, I have been told that the gluten free bread order has not arrived, so I have been offered a jacket potato. With a little bit of imagination, a wider range of dishes could be made available. Jacket potato and chocolate brownie are the standard gf offerings for the 10% of us who have to be gluten-free in the population. Unfortunately, the chips are apparently cooked in a general fryer so cannot be offered with sandwiches etc as for other customers.
