The Coastguard Pub

A meal with a view. Sorry friends, I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo until I had finished my main meal. Hopefully someone else has uploaded. But I will upload an image of the crumble. I enjoyed a bhaji burger with apple slaw and chips. Very tasty, made even better by the view of the stunning beach that reminds you how beautiful England is. Jamie was the star of the day. He went out of his way to make us happy. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, comfortable and well looked after. Although there was a lady at the till who was not so friendly, it certainly did not spoil our experience. We had the most beautiful peach and berry gluten free crumble with a vegan ice cream. Baked to order and out of this world. I would make the 2 hour journey, just to have another one :) If you are ever in the area, give them a visit, you won't regret! Especially if Jamie is serving! Considering we had mains, desserts, tea and drinks, the bill was very reasonable and worth it. And that view. You can't ask for more really. Do note, this is a beautiful, quiet and serene setting.

Nicely located pub but they don't always have gluten free and vegan options. Sadly they mostly use rapeseed oil.
