Unlike most local coffee shops in downtown Ogden the Coffee Compound carters to wide variety of customers.
As an Ogden native I've been to many of the places that offer refreshments. The Coffee Compound stands above them all. There are menu options for those who desire gluten free foods. If you're a busy business executive whose time is worth big money, the Coffee Compound has a drive through. No need to waste time finding parking, walking inside, then waiting for your coffee. Just drive up, order, receive your cup of joe and be on your way in a flash.
Another thing that sets the Coffee Compound apart from other shops is it has dedicated parking. Parking is a worry free endeavor because it has a parking stalls reserved for customers. No need to come back to your car after getting a dirty chai to be greeted by a fine waiting for you on your car.
The ambiance of the Coffee Compound is warm and welcoming. The decor changes seasonally and it always a fun sight to see upon entry. There's tables, both indoor and outdoor, comfortable couch, or cushy chairs to sit on as you enjoy excellent coffee.
Noteworthy is the small library near the entrance. Just grab a book, order a drink and relax. If you're a visitor to Ogden the location is great. It's near the modern attractions on Kisel Avenue and a short jog from Historic 25th Street.
For the people still dedicated to Pokémon Go like myself, it has a Poke Stop. Stop in, get hydrated, spin that Poke Stop and continue your Pokémon Journey better prepared.
The Coffee Compound is environmentally friendly! All the of the to go cups I've seen are recyclable. If you eat inside the dishes are durable and reused after being cleaned. If you're concerned about your carbon footprint you can drink your coffee guilt free there.
The staff are friendly and courteous. I have a disability and I'm treated like a regular person. You are treated like a person, not a means to make more money there.
A final note is that the Coffee Compound has some of the most amazing themed restrooms. Always clean and well maintained, the bathrooms are a good place to make a pit stop after you down some chocolate covered coffee beans. It should be noted that you must be a paying customer to access the bathrooms. However that's the industry standard in Downtown Ogden. I highly recommend this coffee shop above all others.
