We spotted this great coffee shop on our first day in Newcastle and decided that it would be perfect for getting breakfast the next day.
It is tucked away down a side street but has quite a long footprint-really what caught our eye as we passed was that it shared an entrance with a tanning centre. There is Aldo outdoor seating at the front.
There was so much choice when we went in for breakfast with a great range of hot drinks, pastries and all manner of sweet treats plus a very comprehensive menu. We opted for scrambled eggs, mine on gluten free bread.
It was delicious! I would have loved to try one of the cakes and pastries but was too full…
There was a lovely vibe in the coffee shop-all the staff were friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble.
The clientele varied across the age groups and included family groups, young people working on laptops and lone diners.
By the time we left there was quite a queue at the counter as it is obviously very popular.
Will definitely visit again when we are next in Newcastle.
