The Copper Fox

We visited the Copper Fox while in Springfield for a weekend away. Though there was a mix up with our reservation, they were still able to seat us at the bar - and I'm so glad that they did. Everyone who helped us that night was incredibly friendly and treated us like we were regulars. The food was really, really good. Honestly, I might be dreaming about Dirty Potatoes for quite some time! I'm also gluten free and it was so nice to have an extensive menu of items to choose from, including fried chicken. We would definitely return again. My only disappointment is that there isn't a Copper Fox closer to home!

I really like coming here. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the food is great, the place is clean and smells wonderful, and the pub-like feeling is so mellow and inviting. The last time we went I got fish tacos and told the server I had a gluten allergy and the kitchen used rice flour to better the fish instead of wheat 😍 Thank you, they were delicious! They also have a decent mock-tail selection, and I recommend trying the Dirty Potatoes- the aioli is amazing and they can serve them without cheese if you need. Sitting at the bar is fun too, the bartenders are sweet and funny.
