Lovely cafe, only went in for a cup of tea and ended with cake as well. Staff very friendly and gluten free cake was great.

Busy, even in February! Food is good, the orange/lime/something else (gluten free) cake was amazing. Plenty of gluten free options, including cake.

Specifically chose here whilst visiting as I'd seen they'd extended their vegan menu. I got the vegan version of their Bamburgh toastie I think it was, which was really nice, and I always appreciate being able to eat similar foods to my non vegan partner. (Apparently the regular one was great too). They they also had milk alternatives for coffee, and vegan scones though I didn't try one. Noticed they have gluten free options too. The staff we spoke to were very friendly and polite. Did feel a little rushed to order etc, but it was lunchtime on a Saturday so that's to be expected and doesn't bother me.
