The Corner Stable

Best Fried Chicken ever! We were a table of 4, & "April" was our server, who was absolutely wonderful! She had a great personality; accommodating; helpful; very smart on the menu; & knew how to handle our allergies. (Gluten & Dairy at our table) I usually get their ribs, which are super good! But this time I HAD to try their fried chicken. It was Amazing! A Large bone-in breast. The breading was very tasty. (Watch out KFC & Popeyes!) Baked beans & Slaw were good too. Honorable mentions at our table: Pulled pork sandwich; turkey dinner; & fried shrimp. Thank you April & thank you Corner Stable! We'll be back.

Great beer selection, good prices. Crab cakes are tasty with large pieces of crab and a flavorful bread "glue" - not the fanciest I've ever had, but hits that crab cake comfort button perfectly. Ribs are tender, fries are a well executed beach style. Lots of sides to choose from, with many vegetables. I've never tried the burgers, but other members of my family do like them (I can't get past the ribs and crab cakes). The restaurant can accommodate good sized groups because menu has lots of options and many tables are six seaters which can easily be combined for larger groups. I take out of town guests here quite a bit as the corner stable has a lot of Maryland dishes without being pretentious or pricey. We regularly eat with a gluten free, egg allergy diner and the corner stable has always been accommodating. She's never gotten a reaction from eating here, either.
