A truly special birthday thanks to The Cornish Deli I was looking for a place with gluten-free food on my birthday. The first place I visited ignored me completely, and I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Then I walked into The Cornish Deli — and everything changed. The cozy interior, with its traditional Cornish charm, immediately lifted my spirits. It felt warm, authentic, and inviting. There was only one person behind the bar, and I want to say a heartfelt thank you to him. He greeted us with genuine kindness and made us feel so welcome. Thanks to him, my birthday turned around completely. My gluten-free crab sandwich was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seasoned fries and delicious drink made it even more perfect. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend my birthday. Thank you so much to the man behind the bar — your warmth and care truly made my day.

Absolutely excellent deli food. Coeliacs not just accommodated, but welcome with everything on the menu available to coeliacs. Very friendly and a must visit in St Ives.
