We made a reservation and got seated as soon as we walked in. We reserved for outdoor seating and it was a good decision! The view was beautiful and they had a live band playing. Our waitress was very sweet and the whole restaurant seemed to be family owned/run, & tight knit. Which I LOVE!
As for the food.
First off I want to say they were very accommodating. Someone in my party is allergic to gluten so the subbed the flour tortilla in the fish tacos for corn chips. The fish for fish tacos was amazing and so was the sauce for it.
The fried grouper appetizer was delicious, meaty and buttery with a light coating of batter, not too greasy. As it should be.
Our table had the signature dish, shrimp and grits. I didn’t personally order it but tried it and I was pleasantly surprised as I dknt typically like grits.
I personally got the shrimp , fries and gumbo. Everything single things was SO good.
I will be back next time I’m in town.
