The Drake Tavern

Unfortunately, I just sat at the bar for over 20 minutes with no greeting, no menu, no drink, and no customer service. I left with no food. The sad thing is I saw online they had a gluten free burger bun. However, my empty stomach and tip heavily attitude had to go elsewhere.... Over 20% for good service. The bar was not that busy either. To be clear: there may have been a wait for food and drinks but I couldn't even get the bartender's attention and I tried every time he came over.

As a gluten free person, when I order something designated by the restaurant on their ordering site as gluten free I expect it to be gluten free. Even my receipt says I purchased a gf bun for which they charged extra, by the way. I ordered a burger on a gf bun. Gluten makes me sick. Good thing I asked if the roll they gave me was gf, I was told no. The waitress had no sense that that might be a problem. "We don't have any today." So they gave me something which if had not asked would have made me very sick. I ordered my salad with no onions. My salad is smothered with raw onions. When I pulled up the so- called pick up structure was unstaffed. When I called the number on the sign at the parking spot, a recording said it was not working. All around, bad night at Drakes. Used to be so much better. Can't think of a good reason to return.
