Lovely, cosy little pub. Free street parking. Came for dinner. Ordered starter and main. Friendly staff and cute little fire place. Menu had visible allergens displayed. Would have also been nice to see gluten free dishes. But overall, great experience.

We went to the Duck in the Pond today for lunch. 23/10/20 We had the most wonderful experience with the staff. The lady who gave us our menus, took our orders was so friendly and helpful. I am a coeliac so ordering food can be problematic, she was really clued up, told me about the glass onion app and also helped me to download it. What a star sadly I didn't get her name but she said she was working all day. Our waitress was also very friendly. The food was excellent with very generous portions. Often I can't have chips when eating out but they were delicious. I also like the idea of the g written on my order, great communication with the chef. My friend and I are hoping we can go again soon !
