The Edge Restaurant

Beautiful little gem of a restaurant, food was gorgeous, we had king prawns starter, I had the gluten free chicken with Parma ham and veg, my partner had the Venison main and it was all absolutely gorgeous.

Great little restaurant. Lovely staff, great food and a fab atmosphere. They have loads of gluten free options on the main menu and also had a few selections for pudding. Also had some veggie options too. The lemon surprise dessert was awesome! (See photo), it was a lemon panacotta, lemon creme brulée and a raspberry sorbet. Nice and light after the GF scampi I had for my main. Will definitely revisit the next time I'm in Whitby

My friends and I were on a day trip to Whitby and were looking for some lunch. As one of us is gluten free and one food sensitive (we are all disabled) this place seemed perfect. However.......all the food was totally tasteless, texturally wrong and only just edible! It took 4 attempts to find us all a clean cup, after the original ones given to us can only be described as "manky"! We now (a day later) all have upset stomachs, which cannot be a coincidence. Our advice is "find somewhere else"!
