The Elbow Room

I do not EVER do this. But if you have any kind of dietary restrictions, please stay away from The Elbow Room in Bradley Beach! I was VERY excited about trying this place by the way. After asking TWICE about a menu item having a gluten free wrap and being gluten free, they still decided to serve me BREADED CHICKEN inside the wrap. I told the waiter and he said “every buffalo wing is breaded, it’s the same concept.” And took half of the wrap I left untouched without saying another word. I then mentioned to the owner that if you’re serving something gluten free, it should not have breading in it. Then she proceeded to tell me the menu says it’s breaded (which she then admitted it did not say anything about breaded chicken after I asked her to look at HER menu). After that arguement she basically finished the conversation with “just because you order something on a gluten free wrap, doesn’t mean it’s gluten free.” Do with this what you will.

Found this place searching for gluten free options and was pleasantly ++ surprised! Had a great burger that tasted like it was barbecued and my sister had a pot pie which was comfort food at its best. Then musical bingo capped off the evening. Great staff!
