The Eliott Hotel

We have just returned from our stay at The Eliot Hotel. It was fantastic. The rooms are lovely, the staff friendly and attentive and the location is central. The only disappointment was the gluten free bread on offer to my wife who is Coeliac. The bread was hard, brittle and inedible. Could l suggest that the Catering Manager actually sits down and tries to eat the bread to see how disgusting it is. There are far better gluten free breads on the market. However, we would definitely stay again and definitely recommend this hotel to others.... however if you are gluten intolerant please take your own bread unless the supply changes.

The Hotel is situated in the heart of the town and close to all the bars, restaurants and easy to get to all the attractions, either by taxi or walking. The prices are really reasonable for food and drinks and what we had was very good, the breakfast had plenty of choice, although they didn't provide soya yogurts, but did have gluten free options. The room was very clean and we had a view over the bay which was good. We could see all the comings and goings of the cruise ships and container ships when re turned in the evening before venturing out again. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
