The Elm

I went last night with my husband for my birthday dinner after seeing they have pretty good reviews. While the space is pretty cute, the food was seriously lacking, especially at those prices. Around $40 each for very dry, mostly bland fish. The total bill for two drinks, one appetizer, and entrees ended up being more than $150. Also, don’t go here if you’re celiac/gluten free. They have very few options, the staff doesn’t really know much about the ingredients and has to keep going back and forth to the kitchen to ask, and modifications to dishes end up meaning removing sauces or flavor completely. Pretty disappointed in my experience, I won’t be going back for anything other than drinks.

Long overdue!!! I had my bridal shower here a little over a month ago and Melyssa and The Elm went above and beyond our standards! The room was set up to absolute perfection, and our guests noted it was some of the best service they have ever had. Melyssa was so helpful through the planning process, and was super flexible on all of our requests (non-dairy, vegan, gluten free dietary restrictions!) and it was delicious!! It was a perfect day, we want to host all of our parties at the Elm :)
