Busy local cafe decorated in Olde English. Oddly there were no men in this quaint little shop of high pitched chatter! The only menu is posted on the wall, and not easily seen. Limited to soup, sandwich and quiche. The laminated tea menu offers a wide choice and coffee is available. The 2 quiche selections were both winners. My gluten free guest had a hard time finding anything of interest. High tea is available if you book ahead and have deep pockets. The overly chirpy wait staff called us sweetheart, honey and dear more often than a wise husband does in a month.

The ladies at The English Tarts are always delightful. The pastries are delicious as is the soup and they have gluten free options. They bake in house too. The atmosphere is wonderful so if you're feeling like a cuppa, this is a great place to visit. I'm sure the rest of the food is delicious as well I just haven't tried them all yet.
