Our party of 8 visited the cafe this morning for breakfast, we were seated in the function room, our orders were taken very quickly Ethel food we ordered arrived very prompt, it was all delicious, my avacado and eggs on toast was absolutely delicious, we were all very pleased with the service and food , will definitely visit again , the breakfast menu was perfect, they also have a gluten free menu too , Thankyou .

Can't comment on rooms, we just had breakfast, morning coffee & cakes. Good choice if vegan, gluten. Helpful and knowledgeable about these and the other specific dietary requirements in our group. Good walks to/from café including easy flat canalside walks after short initial uphill section. Hourly train (Derby-Matlock line), frequent buses (Trent Barton sixes, transpeak, maybe others. Several prior visits and we will return.
