The Farmhouse

I had an enjoyable dinner. I had a gluten-free gammon steak that was to die for - exquisite, juicy, and chewy. It was the best dish I ever had!!!

We were struggling to find a venue to hold a mums wake after the service at Earlham crematorium. When we contacted our funeral directors for suggestions whilst they were not allowed to make recommendations they were able to say what places previous clients had used and gave a few locations including The Farmhouse. Gave The Farmhouse a call and the lady I spoke to said when Jon was available so we drove over introduced ourselves and asked about a wake. Jon said no problem and sat us around a table to discuss what we wanted and prices. Gave estimate of numbers but said likely to increase. Not a problem paid £100 deposit with balance payable week before wake when more accurate numbers could be given. Whilst we were there had a meal which was lovely. On day of the wake everything as expected with the extension set aside for the wake. Float for drinks behind bar not a problem. Food was great and Jon and Donna accommodated my aunt's need for gluten free with several plates of sandwiches marked as gluten free with a label on the cling film covering them.
