Shellfish Allergy not accommodated! I've been dining at the Farmhouse Cafe for at least a decade. Over time the restaurant has gotten busier and less customer focused. This week our family went for the Fish Special on Good Friday. I have a shellfish allergy. The restaurant would not pan-fry or bake my fish since with one shellfish item on their menu, they would not use the oil for my haddock. 3% of the population suffers from shellfish allergy, and no accommodation was possible. I am very disappointed but at least those requiring gluten free foods can be accommodated in the "gluten-free" oil vat.

The menu is very diverse with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Great stop for lunch on a wine tour.
