The Ferry Hotel

We came on Christmas Eve and really enjoyed our experience. There were gluten free options for those that needed it, the food was delicious and the service was great, considering it was Christmas Eve. We will definitely be back.

I was pleased I had booked, a friend said I didn't need to but it was quite busy. Staff were pleasant and told us what we needed to do. Food was mostly tasty, the pork cracking was too overcooked and inedible. Roast potatoes and veg were nice. There was some confusion about whether we were allowed a sausage though I was expecting pigs in blankets. I got a sausage but chef said husband wasn't allowed one. We didn't have any Yorkshire puds due to being gluten free so a sausage wouldn't have gone amiss. This seems to be problem for us coeliacs, we have to do without because there is no alternative.
