The flying horse cafe

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. They even have gluten free on their menu. Chai was also gluten free and delicious and my daughter said the bacon was the best bacon she has ever had. Chef and staff are lovely. We will definitely return.

The Flying Horse cafe in Ashmore, GC went above and beyond in trying to lower cross contamination risk. I ordered their “Signature Hash” and mentioned i’m gluten intolerant. Although the item is marked “GF”, unfortunately, they don’t have a separate fryer for frying the hashbrowns (which is why it’s important to always ask!). So I received gluten free bread instead. And when I received my meal, I was told that they cooked all my food separately and they made extra sure to reduce and cross contamination risk. I’ve had no reactions whatsoever, so I trust that they truly did do their due diligence. The very lovely young lady at the front counter was delightful, respectful, and took my dietary concerns seriously. Plus the food was delicious!! Definitely recommend!
