The Flying Hound Alehouse

We ate here after I had hiked more than 15 miles on the Ice Age Trail. I started with a large pretzel (which we enjoyed) and then had the decent (but a bit under-cooked) Flying Hound Burger. My wife enjoyed her salad. She raved about a grapefruit beer. I had a gluten-free (I didn't know this was an issue with beer) amber ale which was somewhat disappointing. The vibe seemed a bit too alternative, which might explain why the place was surprisingly empty on a Saturday night. We probably wouldn't eat here again.

We've been here several times and loved it every time! The food is delicious and the service is always wonderful. Their burgers are SO good, and their salads are the best I've ever had! I have a gluten allergy, and there are plenty of options for me. Last time we visited, our server India was a delight despite how busy it was. When what I ordered wasn't available, she was super quick and helpful letting me know so there was no delay getting both me and my husband's food.
