Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely, friendly staff. Dog friendly - we could have ours in our room for an extra £20. They also did a gluten free breakfast for me. Location is great too - a few minutes to walk to Sherwood Forest.

Stayed here for two nights when was attending a nearby wedding. Pub was really nice and staff very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was amazing and perfect for what we needed. Only slight issue and not anything against the place as there was warning signs, the door frames were a little low for a 6 foot 4 person like myself and did bang my head a couple of times. Breakfast provided was delicious and catered for my wife’s gluten free dietary requirements. Would highly recommend and stay here again if we ever come back to this part of the country.
