The Fox and Hounds Restaurant

Visited for dinner whilst visiting Port Arthur. Recommend booking ahead during busy times as this is one of the few restaurants and it gets busy. Staff were fantastic, service was great and the atmosphere is faithfully in the Tudor style. Food was great and only comment was that the veggies were somewhat sparse and somewhat overcooked and tomato based sauce with the salmon was a little over powering. But still really good, hearty food and well worth a visit. Travelled with a member of our party who is gluten free, and there were many menu options to choose from

Overall and wonderful experience. The gluten free curry for my partner was wonderful. My chicken schnitzel wasn't too heavy and was perfect for me at the time. If you want something crunchier this isn't it but it was for me at the time.
