The food was the best part of this trip, we visited on a Sunday, and although the menu is a little basic (only offering roast dinners, fish or vegetarian option) it was a delicious roast dinner. It also does offer gluten free food which is great as my partner is intolerant.
But The Fox really do need to improve upon their service, most of the waiting staff were 16-17 years old, and wandered around like lost puppies, only redeemed by the experienced older manageress. But we were left for 10-20 minutes when given a menu with no one coming to take our order so I went up to order at the bar, and then I had to repeat this when we asked for the desserts board. Overall great food, not to mention the yummy chocolate cheesecake for afters but train your staff properly as this is a huge downfall.
