The French Room

The staff went above and beyond for my mom who requires a walker and for some of us with dietary needs. They were able to do a Gluten free service and allergy free for one. Connie is an absolute gem and made the day even more bright and special.

My daughter and 6 guests attended afternoon tea for her 26 birthday. Beautiful atmosphere however they failed miserably to provide the foods and services we expected. I emailed, called, and posted on my reservation that my daughter had seafood, nut, and gluten allergies. All of which they assured me they could accommodate. Mid tea service they brought out a pastry for my daughter with a candle. As we sand happy birthday the staff came out and snatched it back saying it had nuts in it!!! Next they snatched back the assorted plate of items they had for her because of her allergies stating it may contain nuts. Lastly they bring her out gluten free scones with disgusting looking green stuff growing on them. When I asked was it mold they said no...then two minutes later they snatched the moldy gluten free scones and took them back to the kitchen for some unknown reason. They finally gave her a plate of dried out cut up berries and two scones. That's it! By this time my daughter was afraid to eat anything. This was very disappointing as she been wanting to come here for some time so I planned this well on advance and even spoke with staff to ensure they could accommodate her dietary restrictions. They failed to deliver on their promises.
